THE FORMULATOR
A special tool developed by Branson W. Ritchie, DVM, PhD for the busy clinician to help in calculating accurate volumes of pharmaceuticals for animals weighed in grams. This handy, two-sided, durable plastic conversion chart reduces the complexity of calculating a mg/kg dose for a small animal such as a 30 g parakeet. Dosages are listed along the side bar, and drug concentrations are found across the top. The factor that results from intersecting these two values is the quantity of drug to be given per gram body weight.

THE COMPANION BIRD CARE SERIES
Each of these beautifully designed full-color brochures was created to address a single species. As part of a "new bird kit," avian veterinarians, aviculturists and pet shops can provide them as client educational material.
