Ranks 15th in the AFC in scoring and also ranked first in the AFC and tied for first in the NFL (with the N.Y. Giants' Brad Daluiso) with 20 touchbacks . . . On Dec. 16th vs. Buffalo scored ten points, going 3-3 in field goals, connecting from 29, 41, and 18 yards out, and was 1-1 in extra points . . . His three field goals tied his single game career best . . . For those efforts in that contest was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 17th . . . He becomes the first Dolphin player to win the AFC special teams award since kicker Pete Stoyanovich was honored following week nine of the 1994 season, and only the first player in team history, as punter Dal Hatcher was honored following week 12 of the 1993 season . . . On Nov. 17th at Houston was 2-2 in extra points and 3-4 in field goals, connecting from 34, 44, and 29 yards out . . . His 29-yard field goal came on the final play of the game, breaking a 20-20 tie and giving the Dolphins a 23-20 victory . . . His 44-yard field goal in that contest was the longest field goal in his career . . . In addition, his three field goals made in that game is the most field goals he has made in a game in his career, and his 11 points in that contest is his single game career high as well . . . On Oct. 20th at Philadelphia scored eight points, going 2-2 in extra points and 2-2 in field goals, connecting from 37 and 39 yards out . . . On Sept. 23rd at Indianapolis accounted for all the Dolphin points in their 10-6 loss to the Colts, going 2-3 in field goals, hitting from 24 and 29 yards out and missing from 53 yards . . . On Sept. 15th vs. N.Y. Jets scored six points, going 3-4 in extra points and 1-2 in field goals, hitting from 29 yards out and missing from 37 yards out . . . His missed extra point broke a string of 120 consecutive extra points by Dolphin kickers, with the last miss coming on December 20, 1992 vs. the N.Y. Jets . . . On Sept. 8th at Arizona scored eight points, going 5-5 in extra points and 1-3 in field goals, hitting from 36 yards out and missing from 40 yards and 30 yards . . . Made his NFL and Dolphin debut on September 1st vs. New England and scored three points, going 1-1 in field goals (hitting from 34 yards out) and three for three in extra points . . . Finished the preseason as the Dolphins' leading scorer with 25 points on 7-8 field goals and 4-4 extra points . . . Finished seventh in the AFC in scoring in the preseason . . . Signed by the Dolphins as a free agent on March 29, 1996 . . .
